Update Emirates ID Online

  1. Visit the ICA icp.gov.ae website and choose the ‘Services’ TAB.
  2. Select ‘Smart Services’ and then “Update Personal Information.”
  3. Click the ‘Start service’ button to proceed with the method.
  4. Choose your Nationality and provide your Emirates Identity Number or File Number.
  5. In the Residency Mode, choose either ‘Enquiry by File Number’ or ‘Enquiry By ID Number.’
  6. Enter the required information including your Emirates ID number, Full name, Passport number, Date of birth, Last entry date, and Email address.
  7. Click on “Update Data” and modify your details accurately to correct your ID status.
  8. Review your Application and Pay the Fees for updating and modifying Emirates ID Status, which currently charges AED 50.
  9. Once paid, you will receive an OTP on your connected cell phone number.
  10. Enter the OTP code and check the captcha box to ‘Submit’ your application.
